Watching a FUSE tribute to MJ. 3 hours of his videos. Classic stuff from Thriller still holds up. His newer stuff seemed to have fallen off though. "In the Closet" video is more a Naomi Campbell shoot with MJ added. His dancing/singing for this song was a little less impressive. Guess Naomi Campbell was really big at the time...

It has been confirmed that Michael Jackson has passed away. Though he had much controversy in his later life, the MJ that I knew and loved was from the Off The Wall and Thriller days. An amazing and iconic performer. I don't think any of the pop stars that followed will ever be as well loved universally as MJ was. I'll have to dust off the turn table and put on my Thriller vinyl in remembrance.

UPDATE: And no less sad but Farah Fawcett passed away today from cancer, as well.  I wasn't a fan but always sad to see someone dying from cancer.
